Frozen Semen Purchase Conditions.

1.      Frozen Semen is packaged in special containers for transportation.

2.      The transport and handling fee for any shipment is to be paid in advance with the service fee to the proprietors of Topcat Racing Stables before dispatch.

3.      The Semen will be despatched within 24 hours of receipt of payment, to a pre-arranged destination (A.I. technician or Vet who will have storage facilities).

4.      If more semen is required for the mare originally named, it will be transported at the mare owners expense.
Only 1 (one) service certificate will be available per service fee paid.

 Advantages of using Frozen Semen

1. No mare and foal transport costs
2. Minimises trauma on mares and foals.
3. Mares can be impregnated at home or close by.
4. Frozen Semen can be stored up to 50 years, so it will be at hand when needed, unlike Chilled Semen which has a life span of 48
   Hrs and may not be there at the crucial moment.
5. The reduction in price is to compensate mare owners for the cost of AI.

Instant Reaction Semen Statistics

1. Exceptionally high thaw motility, over 70%, which is over twice as fertile as an average stallion.
2. Over 320million live sperm per dose (Gel free volume 50ml, with an 80% motile post thaw)
3. Mares have gone in foal at the first impregnation with as low as 2 straws.
